This charming cabin is located on a 100m long sandy beach. The cabin has an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a wood burning fireplace, shower, one double bedroom and a mezzanine upstairs with two single beds. 

There is an outdoor terrace, a large wood burning lakeside sauna and a rowing boat in your use on the cabin grounds. The cabin surrounds are tranquil and offer excellent opportunities for walking, swimming, rowing and resting.

Horse-riding is available nearby (25km) and two golf courses are located within a 40 minute drive. Wild berries and mushrooms can be picked in late summer and autumn, while fishing is possible at Tiilikkajoki River, which is regarded as one of the best for trout fishing in the Lakeland region. 

This cabin is available for holiday rental from May to September only. 

Cabin amenities:
Shower, WC, fireplace and logs, microwave, electric hobs, TV, radio, electric heating, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner,  fridge/freezer, rowing boat, small barbecue and a child safety gate in stairs. A baby bed and a high chair can be arranged by prior booking.

Pets are allowed, but smoking is not. Bed linen and towels can be hired for £10 per person. Final clean in the cabin can be arranged to be done on your behalf for £29.

Location:
The cabin is located in a quiet setting in Korpijärvi, 75km from Kuopio Airport and 50km from Iisalmi town. There is a small food shop just a short drive away, while more shops and bigger supermarkets can be found about a 20 minute drive away.

If you like walking and nature, make sure you will visit Pisa Conservation Area 40km away. This 280ha area is famous particularly for the breathtaking views that open from top of Pisa Hill. Climb up the observation tower and admire the beautiful scenery of blue lakes and green tree-covered hills that continue for miles and miles. 

Visit also the Devil's Cellar on the northern side of the hill, where a small cave has formed as a result of ancient cutting of mountain crystal for jewellery.

The area around Tahko Ski Resort 44km away offers guided outdoor activities and safaris in all seasons. Try for example canoeing, mountain-biking, hiking, horse-riding, golf, boating or fishing.

Kuopio 75km away is a lively town with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and museums to visit on a day trip. In summer, you can take a sightseeing tour around the town on a boat, fun-train, double-decker bus or a horse and carriage. Visit the 75m high Puijo Tower, from where you can admire one of the best views in the Lakeland region while dining in an A la Carte restaurant or a more informal cafe, both of which go around 360 degrees in an hour.
