This spacious lakeside cabin offers high standard amenities, beautiful decor and plenty of space for a larger party. The cabin has a large open plan kitchen, dining area and living room, three twin/double bedrooms, a shower room, changing room, sauna and a separate lounge with a wood burning fireplace. Three sofa beds can sleep additional six people if required. The cabin is positioned on a rocky outcrop and large terraces offer beautiful lake views. 

The cabin is surrounded by serene countryside, where cross-country skiing (50m to the nearest tracks), fishing and walking are popular activities. Horse-riding is possible in the stables just 14km from the cabin, while Tahko Golf Course is available for keen golfers 15km away.

Cabin amenities:
Electric sauna, shower, 2 WCs, washing machine, drying cupboard for clothes, fireplace and logs, microwave, electric oven and hobs, a widescreen TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, private pier, electric heating, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, rowing boat, terrace, balcony that offers beautiful lake views, hoover, toaster, iron/ironing board, fridge/freezer and a car heating point. 

The cabin has good facilities for families and children including a cot, highchair, potty, higher step to reach toilet seat, child safety gate in stairs and large gardens for children to play in. A lakeside sauna will be in your use in summer.  

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bed linen and towels can be hired for £10 per person. Final clean in the cabin can be arranged on your behalf for £75.  

Location:
The cabin is located in Kinahmi, 35km from Kuopio Airport and 11km from the small town of Nilsiä where local amenities are easily accessible. The lake shore is accessed via fairly steep steps and the shore is fairly deep, so young children should be supervised here at all times. The nearest neighbour is located 200m away which allows you total privacy.

The nearest ski resort is the popular Tahko just 15km away. The resort has 23 ski slopes for downhill skiing, 13 ski lifts and 2 half-pipes and a street for snowboarding. The resort also has a ski school, where you can learn to downhill ski, slalom ski, snowboard, cross-country ski or telemark ski, according to your interests. All ski equipment can be rented from the resort's own rental shop and children, who are under 7 years old, wear a helmet and are accompanied by their parents, ski for free! 

The Tahko area has many local suppliers and safari companies, who offer organised and guided activities year round. Join a canoeing expedition, go mountain-biking or enjoy a hike with other similar minded people. 

Kuopio just 50km away is a lively town with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and museums to visit on a day trip. In summer, take a sightseeing tour around the town on a boat, fun-train, double-decker bus or a horse and carriage. Visit the 75m high Puijo Tower, from where you can admire one of the best views in the Lakeland region while dining in an A la Carte restaurant or a more informal cafe, both of which go round 360 degrees in an hour.

Fly low-cost on Blue1 from London Heathrow, Dublin,  Rome, Copenhagen, Athens, Amsterdam, Gothenburg, Berlin, Hamburg, Barcelona, Madrid, Oslo, Nice or Paris to Kuopio via Helsinki. Pick up a hire car at the airport.

Fly low-cost on Ryanair from London Stansted, Liverpool, Dublin or Frankfurt to Tampere (340km). Pick up a hire car at the airport.
