The 471m high Pulju Fell also offers a number of very good trails for hiking and mountain biking. The top of the Pulju Fell can be reached by foot via a 5km trail for lovely views over the surrounding area. Cabin
amenities: Pets are allowed, but smoking is not. Bed linen and towels can be rented for £10 per person. Final clean in the cabin can be arranged on your behalf for £39. Location: Levi resort offers a wide range of activities and safaris such as snowmobiling, reindeer and husky rides, horse-riding on Icelandic horses, hot-air ballooning, parasailing and kick sledging and therefore provides an ideal day trip destination. In December, a Santa Claus Safari for example is not to be missed! Pulju Wilderness Area covers 614km² and consists of fells, tree-covered hills and swamps that fill with cloudberries, lingonberries, blueberries and mushrooms in late summer and autumn. Reindeer herding is one of the main livelihoods in the Area and you may well see reindeers during your visit. Wolverines, bears, lynxes, wolves, owls, hawks, eagles, capercaillies, stoats, minks, weasels and otters also inhabit the Area. The nearby 1020km² Pallas-Ylläs Fells National Park is the third largest national park in Finland. The park is a varied mixture of fells, woods and swamps and is said to have the cleanest air in Europe. The network of signposted walking and hiking trails covers a total of 320km, majority of which allows you to admire the majestic fells in the horizon (the highest fell in the park towers at 807m). Reindeer, bears and moose are common in the park, while wolves, wolverines and lynxes are occasional visitors. How
