A luxurious log villa in a quiet position in popular Levi Ski Resort. The location is ideal particularly for families and larger parties who enjoy tranquil surrounds, but also want to stay near excellent village amenities and ski slopes. 

The cabin is set in three floors and has high quality amenities and furniture throughout. The ground floor has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a wood burning fireplace, WC, shower and two twin/double bedrooms. 

The lower ground floor includes one twin/double bedroom, sauna and double shower room, second sitting area with a wood burning fireplace, utility room and WC. The top floor includes one twin/double bedroom, WC and additional living space.  

Levi is the largest ski resort in Finland and comes highly recommended for keen skiers, couples who look for an active holiday near places to eat out, as well as families who wish to stay near activities for children. Kids' Land offers daily fun and free organised activities for children of all ages, while babysitting is also available for an hourly rate.   

Cabin amenities:
Electric sauna, 3 showers, 3 WCs, 2 fireplaces and logs, washing machine, drying cupboard for wet ski suits, microwave, electric oven and hobs, 2 TVs with cable channels, DVD player, video recorder, radio/CD player, electric heating with radiators and under floor heating, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, hoover, toaster, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, fridge/freezer, baby bed, high chair, car heating point, child safety gate in stairs and an outdoor ski storage.

Pets are allowed, but smoking is not. Bed linen and towels can be hired for €14 per person, while final clean on your behalf is complimentary.

Location:
The cabin is located in Levi Ski Resort, 10km from Kittilä Airport. Taxis are available for transfers between the airport and the cabin and they cost about 30 euros each way. The nearest ski slopes are located just 500m away, while the nearest cross-country skiing tracks pass by about 200m away.   

The centre of Levi village is located about 2km away and can be reached easily on a free SkiBus, that stops just 500m from the cabin. The SkiBus operates regularly from mid-Nov to early May 10am-7pm. Taxis are also easily available. 

Levi village caters well for visitors and has 45 varied ski slopes, 5 slopes/parks for snowboarders, 26 ski lifts, a cable car, 230km of cross-country skiing tracks, 4 ski hire shops, a ski school, 25 restaurants and cafes, 3 supermarkets, an off-licence, chemist, post office, petrol station, First Aid and doctor's surgery, sports and souvenir shops, a chapel, spa complex, 3 gyms and a swimming pool. 

Our safari partner in Levi has a very good programme of safaris, that include snowmobiling, reindeer and husky rides, ice-fishing and Northern Lights adventures. In December, Santa Claus Safari is also available. Warm winter clothing can be hired locally, although most safaris include full thermal clothing in the price.      

Levi Golf and Country Club has an 18-hole course, where you can play golf under the Midnight Sun from June to July. Fishing, mountain biking and canoeing are other popular activities in Levi in the summertime.   

Levi Reindeer Park consists of 170ha where reindeer wander freely during the summer months and where you can go trekking or Nordic walking. Guided expeditions introduce you to the reindeer and reindeer husbandry in the area, while a ski lift takes you to the top of the fell to admire the far reaching views of Lapland's wild nature.

1020km² Pallas-Ylläs Fells National Park nearby is the third largest national park in Finland. The park consists of fells, woods and swamps and is said to have the cleanest air in Europe. The network of sign posted hiking trails cover 320km that offer lovely views of the majestic fells in the horizon (the highest fell in the park towers at 807m). Reindeer, bears and moose are common, while wolves, wolverines and lynxes are occasional visitors.

How do I get there?
Fly on Finnair from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin to Kittilä (10km from cabin) via Helsinki. Pick up a hire car at the airport or take a taxi to the cabin. Alternatively, take Airport Bus to Levi village and a taxi from there to the cabin (1.5km). 

Fly on Blue1 from London Heathrow, Dublin, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Hamburg, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Oslo, Nice or Paris to Kittilä via Helsinki.
