A stylish apartment in the immediate vicinity of village amenities and ski slopes in popular Levi Ski Resort. The apartment is one of 12 and would ideally suit a family or a party of friends who appreciate the superb location within just a short walking distance of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and other village amenities. 

The apartment is on two levels and the entrance level has a beautiful open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, WC, two twin/double bedrooms and a large balcony from where fantastic views towards the ski slopes can be enjoyed.

The lower floor includes a second lounge that has a wood burning fireplace, WC, sauna, shower room (two showers) and beds for three (one 140cm wide double bed and one 80cm wide single bed).

The basement of the apartment building has a shared laundry room with a washing machine and a clothes dryer, as well as lockable storage area for skis and other equipment that can be used free of charge.

Levi is the largest and the liveliest ski resort in Finland and is therefore ideal for skiers, couples and families who wish to have an active holiday near shops, restaurants, ski slopes and activities for children. Kids' Land offers free organised activities for children of all ages, while babysitting is also available for an hourly rate.

Rental prices in 'Aurora Apartments' include use of two complimentary ski lift passes for the duration of your stay.

Electric sauna, 2 showers, 2 WCs, fireplace and logs, microwave, electric oven and hobs, TV with cable channels, DVD player, radio/CD player, under floor heating, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, vacuum cleaner, toaster, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, fridge/freezer, child stair gate and a car heating point outdoors.

A baby care set including a travel cot with bed linen, high chair, potty and a baby bath can be ordered free of charge by prior booking subject to availability at the time of your reservation.

Pets are allowed in this apartment, but smoking is not. Bed linen, towels, luxurious bathrobes and final clean on your behalf are provided inclusive in the rental price. 

Location:
The apartment is located in a very convenient and central position in Levi Ski Resort about 20km from Kittilä Airport. Bus transfers are available between the airport and Levi from/to every Finnair and Blue1 flight, while taxis are also available and cost about 20-25 euros one-way.

Levi village caters well for visitors and has 45 varied ski slopes, 5 slopes/parks for snowboarders, 26 ski lifts, a cable car, 230km of cross-country skiing tracks, 4 ski hire shops, a ski school, 25 restaurants and cafes, 3 supermarkets, an off-licence, chemist, post office, petrol station, First Aid and doctor's surgery, sports and souvenir shops, a chapel, spa complex, 3 gyms and a swimming pool. 

Our safari partner in Levi has a very good programme of safaris that include snowmobiling, reindeer and husky rides, ice-fishing and Northern Lights adventures. In December, a Santa Claus Safari is also available. Warm winter clothing can be hired locally, although most safaris include full thermal clothing in the price.      

Levi Golf and Country Club has an 18-hole course, where you can play golf under the Midnight Sun from June-July. Fishing, mountain biking and canoeing are other popular activities in Levi in the summertime.  

Levi Reindeer Park consists of 170ha where reindeer wander freely during the summer months and where you can go trekking or Nordic walking. Guided expeditions introduce you to the reindeer husbandry in the area, while a ski lift takes you to the top of the Levi Fell where you can admire the far reaching views of Lapland's wild nature.  

Pallas-Ylläs Fells National Park (1020km²) is the third largest national park in Finland. The park consists of fells, woods and swamps and is claimed to have the cleanest air in Europe. The network of sign posted hiking trails cover 320km that offer lovely views of the majestic fells in the horizon (the highest fell in the park towers at 807m). Reindeer, bears and moose are common, while wolves, wolverines and lynxes are occasional visitors.

How do I get there?
Fly on Finnair from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin to Kittilä (20km from apartments) via Helsinki. Pick up a hire car at the airport, take a taxi or the Airport Bus to Levi.

Fly on Blue1 from London Heathrow, Dublin, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Hamburg, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Oslo, Nice or Paris to Kittilä via Helsinki.

Charter flights are available to Kittilä from London Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol on Sundays from Ski-Flights.

Arriving in Helsinki from any other city, Finnair or Blue1 will fly you from Helsinki to Kittilä.
