          Lap225 - Morning Lodge
Atmospheric semi-detached log cabin located in a quiet setting in popular Levi. The cabin offers comfortable accommodation for families and larger parties with easy access to village amenities and ski slopes.

The cabin has a bright interior and high standard amenities throughout. The entrance floor has a well-equipped kitchen, family dining area with a large 8-seater dining table, comfortable sitting area, wood burning fireplace, shower room/WC, one cosy  twin/double bedroom and a large outdoor terrace that faces west and the evening sun.

The first floor has a second sitting area, shower room, WC, three cosy twin/double bedrooms and a large balcony that also faces west. The basement floor has a large sauna, stylish shower room, changing room and a WC.  

The cabin is attached to Morning Log Cabin (Lap226), which can be rented separately or together with Morning Lodge for parties consisting of more than 8 people. 

Cabin amenities:
Electric sauna, 2 shower rooms, 2 WCs, fireplace and logs, washing machine and 2 drying cabinets, microwave, electric oven and hobs, 2 TVs (cable channels), DVD player, radio/CD player, wireless internet access, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, vacuum cleaner, toaster, iron/ironing board, fridge/freezer, chiller cupboard, baby bed, child stair gate, ski storage room and a heating point for two cars outdoors.  

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bed linen and towels can be hired for €15 per person, while final clean can be ordered to be done on your behalf for an additional €185.

Location:
The cabin is located in a peaceful spot near to village amenities and just 18km from Kittilä Airport. The Airport Bus operates between the airport and Levi village from/to every Finnair and Blue1 flight. 

Levi is a lively resort that is ideal for those who wish to have an active holiday and stay near a number of shops, restaurants, ski slopes and activities. Children are entertained in Kids' Land where they can take part in all sorts of free organised activities, while babysitting is also available for an hourly rate. 

The village centre is located just 1km from the cabin and can be reached easily by foot in about 10 minutes. A free SkiBus service and taxis are also available.

Levi village caters well for visitors and has 45 varied ski slopes, 5 slopes/parks for snowboarders, 26 ski lifts, a cable car, 230km of cross-country skiing tracks, 4 ski hire shops, a ski school, 25 restaurants and cafes, 3 supermarkets, an off-licence, chemist, post office, petrol station, First Aid and doctor's surgery, sports and souvenir shops, a chapel, spa complex, 3 gyms and a swimming pool. 

Our safari partner in Levi has a very good programme of safaris, that include snowmobiling, reindeer and husky rides, ice-fishing and Northern Lights adventures. In December, a Santa Claus Safari is also available.       

Levi Golf and Country Club has an 18-hole course, where you can play golf under the Midnight Sun from June-July. Fishing, mountain biking and canoeing are other popular activities in Levi in the summertime.  

Levi Reindeer Park consists of 170ha where reindeer wander freely during the summer months and where you can go trekking or Nordic walking. Guided expeditions introduce you to the reindeer and reindeer husbandry in the area, while a ski lift takes you to the top of Levi Fell to admire the far reaching views of Lapland's wild nature.  

The nearby 1020km² Pallas-Ylläs Fells National Park is the third largest national park in Finland. The park consists of fells, woods and swamps and is said to have the cleanest air in Europe. The network of sign posted hiking trails cover 320km that offer lovely views of the majestic fells in the horizon (the highest fell in the park towers at 807m). Reindeer, bears and moose are fairly common, while wolves, wolverines and lynxes are occasional visitors.

How do I get there?
Fly on Finnair from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin to Kittilä via Helsinki. Pick up a hire car at the airport or take a taxi to the cabin. Alternatively, take the Airport Bus to Levi centre and a taxi from there to the cabin (1km).

Fly on Blue1 from London Heathrow, Dublin, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Hamburg, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Oslo, Nice or Paris to Kittilä via Helsinki.
