A pretty apartment on two levels located in a central position in Levi village. The local amenities including supermarkets, shops and restaurants are all within a short walking distance, while ski slopes and cross-country ski tracks are also located nearby.   

The apartment has its own entrance on the street level where you will find a cosy kitchen and dining room, contemporary living room, one bedroom and a WC. The lower level of the apartment has a second living/sleeping area that includes a beautiful wood burning fireplace, sauna, shower room/WC, bunk beds for two and a separate wood/ski store room.

Levi is the largest ski resort in Finland and comes highly recommended for keen skiers, couples looking for an active holiday near nightlife and places to eat out, as well as families, who wish to stay near activities for children. Kids' Land offers daily fun and free organised activities for children of all ages, while babysitting is also available for an hourly rate.         

Apartment amenities:
Electric sauna, shower, 2 WCs, fireplace and logs, washing machine and drying cabinet, microwave, electric oven and hobs, 2 TVs, DVD player, radio/CD player, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, vacuum cleaner, toaster, iron/ironing board, fridge/freezer and child safety gate in stairs. The apartment also includes a parking spot.

Toboggans, bicycles, baby beds and high chairs can be hired from the apartment caretakers for a small charge. Discounted ski lift passes are also available.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bed linen and towels can be hired for £17 per person, while final clean is included in the rental price. 

Location:
The apartment is located in the centre of Levi village just 100m from the nearest restaurant and 150m from the nearest supermarket, while ski slopes are also just a short walk away. Kittilä Airport is located 15km away and the Airport Bus operates between the airport and Levi from/to every Finnair and Blue1 flight. 

Levi village caters well for visitors and has 45 varied ski slopes, 5 slopes/parks for snowboarders, 26 ski lifts, a cable car, 230km of cross-country skiing tracks, 4 ski hire shops, a ski school, 25 restaurants and cafes, 3 supermarkets, an off-licence, chemist, post office, petrol station, First Aid and doctor's surgery, sports and souvenir shops, a chapel, spa complex, 3 gyms and a swimming pool. 

Our safari partner in Levi has a very good programme of safaris, that include snowmobiling, reindeer and husky rides, ice-fishing, kick sledging and Northern Lights adventures. In December, a Santa Claus Safari is also available. Warm winter clothing can be hired locally, although most safaris include full thermal clothing in the price.      

Levi Golf and Country Club has an 18-hole course, where you can play golf under the Midnight Sun from June-July. Fishing, mountain biking and canoeing are other popular activities in Levi in the summertime.   

Levi Reindeer Park consists of 170ha where reindeer wander freely during the summer months and where you can go trekking or Nordic walking. Guided expeditions introduce you to the reindeer and reindeer husbandry in the area, while a ski lift takes you to the top of the fell to admire the far reaching views of Lapland's wild nature.

The nearby 1020km² Pallas-Ylläs Fells National Park is the third largest national park in Finland. The park consists of fells, woods and swamps and is said to have the cleanest air in Europe. The network of sign posted hiking trails cover 320km that offer lovely views of the majestic fells in the horizon (the highest fell in the park towers at 807m). Reindeer, bears and moose are common, while wolves, wolverines and lynxes are occasional visitors.

How do I get there?
Fly on Finnair from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin to Kittilä (15km from apartment) via Helsinki. Take a taxi or Airport Bus to Levi. 

Fly on Blue1 from London Heathrow, Dublin, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Hamburg, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Oslo, Nice or Paris to Kittilä via Helsinki.

Charter flights are available to Kittilä from London Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol on Sundays during the winter season from Ski-Flights. Tel: 0870 830 8136.
