Final cleaning explained

It is customary in Finland that when you leave a rented holiday property you will clean it ready for the next party. The cleaning usually includes hoovering, wiping clean all tables and work surfaces, cleaning the oven and fridge, washing the sauna and shower areas, moving furniture back to their original positions, washing up dishes, taking rubbish out and generally tidying up.  

In some properties, you can arrange the final cleaning to be done on your behalf for an extra charge, but this service must be pre-booked before your holiday. It is worth noting, that some cabin owners charge fairly large sums for this service, so please think carefully whether you are prepared to pay for the freedom to depart your accommodation without the final cleaning or do you prefer to clean and tidy up yourselves.
